About Andrew

Andrew is a troubled, volatile young man with a secret vendetta against Shanna Mallory Hemmings. We don't know much regarding his past with Shanna, but it has come clear over the last season that it involves his deceased brother. When Andrew crashed into town, he quickly disrupted the Hemmings' cottage, distressed over his wrecked car. After making a phone call to someone other than a repair man, he left the Hemmings cottage only to darken their doors later when Shanna stumbled upon him being beaten by some thugs. Reacting according to script, she took him into her and Ben's home. Things erupted when her husband returned and found the two in an awkward position: Shanna tending to the wounds of a shirtless young man. Andrew exploited the scene as much as he could while Ben demanded he leave. Andrew kept a low profile following that incident.

Then he devised the perfect opportunity to get closer to his nemesis: build her an art studio. Shalia Guittierrez also conspired with the carpenter, enlisting his help in stopping Ben. Removing Ben from the equation fit right into his master plan, so he was happy to oblige Shalia's desperate plea. After about a month and a half, the art studio he was building neared completion and Shanna was already embracing her artistic side with a few sketches. Andrew had her right where he wanted her. Shalia wonder if his reasons for getting rid of hubby were so he could finally have the wife all to himself. The suggestion, let alone the thought, was enough to make him sick. His little sexual fantasy about her, however, suggested otherwise. However, it appeared to have been a one-time fantasy as far as we know, probably brought on by all of Shalia's insinuations.

Andrew continues to present himself to Shanna as a friend in her time of need. Could her grief open his eyes to another side of the widow? If so, how will that affect the ominous plans he has in store for her?!
