About Brian

Brian grew up believing he was the product of rape, fueling a very antagonistic relationship with his father, Darron. When his mother married Alejandro Gomez, Brian (then age 14) left town with the couple to start afresh. After nearly five years away, Carmen hoped Brian and Darron would be able to connect as father and son. Unfortunately, Darron was done playing the villain role, revealing that it was all a lie: he was not Brian's father! He met Jennifer Everestt later that evening, and they bonded over their parental woes. Their paths were aligned once again when both Jennifer and Brian decided to move into rooms at a vacant mansion. They became instant friends.

Shortly after arriving at the mansion, strange things started to occur. Brian became suspicious of Dylan, but could not prove it. A guilt-ridden Frankie Lancaster admitted to him that he was hired to terrorize Jennifer. Dylan tried to counteract the accusations, but Garrett's arrival forced him to admit everything that he had done. Brian and Jennifer eventually put aside their animosity toward Dylan, but more trouble was brewing. Jennifer's high school boyfriend blew into town, determined to make up for his mistakes. Romeo's reappearance had unearthed feelings she thought she successfully buried. It had also awoken Brian to the truth about his own relationship with the feisty blond. He was in love with her. After several days of carrying around the truth, he followed Darron and Garrett's advice and admitted how he felt to Jennifer. She was shocked and flattered by the revelation, but conceded that she was still trying to make sense of her relationship with Romeo and could not possibly consider being with him. His hopes dashed, he told her he would be leaving town to clear his head.
