Brock came to town to win back his lady love, Samantha Keller, whom he met in Paris while in med school.  It was pretty much love at first sight for the pair.  However, due to a mix-up, the two became estranged and Samantha left the city of love to forget their time together.  However, you know what they say-- the past always catches up to you.  Brock, realizing the mistake he made letting Samantha go, traveled to Hallandale in time for the Annual Masquerade Ball, where he confronted her.  He told her that he came to Hallandale to win her back and wasn't leaving without her.  Samantha, however, was very hesitant about starting up again with Brock, especially considering how things ended between them.  He later explained that the reason he called off their engagement so abruptly was because he caught her and Ty Chappell in bed together.  Suddenly, it all made sense to Samantha and she quickly explained that nothing happened between her and Ty.  Of course, the fact that he jumped immediately to that conclusion made her even more hesitant to start over again with him.  If he could leave her over such a simple misunderstanding, what would happen the next time?  Ultimately, it was some objective advice from her brother (before he knew exactly what went down) that convinced Samantha to take the plunge with Brock. 

Taking their newly reacquired love to the next level, Brock asked Samantha to be his wife.  A few days later, Brock and Samantha married in front of small ceremony of family and friends, despite Royce's qualms about Brock, which he put to rest for his sister's sake.  It became clear later that Royce's qualms about the night of Brock and Samantha's breakup in Paris were right on the money because Brock had a one-night stand with Leigha Gray, which he neglected to tell Samantha about after making her feel so guilty over the non-affair she had with Ty Chappell.  What made matters worse is that he also suspected Leigh was in town and stalking his wife, but kept quiet.  Samantha took the revelation hard, but was able to forgive Brock over time.  They both, however, weren't so receptive of Leigh, especially when she crashed their holiday party.

Since then, Brock has had several run-ins with Leigh, in which he has attacked her personally and warned his brother against getting involved with her again.  It will definitely be a long time coming before Brock or Samantha forget what she has done.  Unfortunately, Brock's resentment of Leigh has gotten out of control, so much that it has pitted him on the opposite side of his brother.  Now with Samantha missing in action, he is finally putting his focus back where it should be -- on his wife and the life that they share.
