Dana is a mystic soul, who believes in the power of the universe, her tarot cards.  She came to Hallandale for her brother's wedding to Samantha Keller.  During the wedding, she performed a reading that warned her that Brock's marriage to Samantha would be challenged.  Although she informed both of her brothers of the reading, there opposition prompted her not to do much.  During her intended short stay in Hallandale, she developed an instant friendship with fellow mystic soul, Matthew Pryce.  Their instant friendship is what landed them both permanent stomping grounds in Hallandale.  They begin to realize with the help of each other that they could help prevent some of the gloomy warnings they were getting from the spirits of the universe.

One of their biggest projects involved Michelle Dientes Alvarez, whose journey in Coral Springs was forewarn to lead to danger in Hallandale and that it did.  Upon arriving in Coral Springs, Dana and Matthew visited a fortuneteller's hut, where they received confirmation of the messages they were intercepting from the spirits above.  The fortuneteller informed them that the danger in Hallandale had already been set in motion, but they still had time to stop what was happening in Coral Springs.  What they were supposed to stop wasn't revealed, the fortuneteller just told them that all would become clear once they arrived at West Creek Camp.  When they finally arrived at the camp, it had been deserted except for Michelle, Enrique and Danielle, who were confronting Brett Delgado about his involvement in Kasey's murder.  Dana, along with Matthew, saw no immediate danger and headed upstairs to inform their loved ones that they were safe and sound.  As they made their phone calls, Denise Sharrington arrived at the camp, ready to kill everyone in sight.  Meanwhile, having finished her call to her brother, Ralph, who was caught in the festivities of the Leonard Stone' murder trial, Dana and Matt proceeded back downstairs, but Denise's disturbance stopped them.  Upon spying the woman holding Michelle and Enrique at gunpoint, Matt and Dana decided to plan a surprise attack.  When Matthew finally crept upon Denise, Dana was suppose to strike her with the bat they got a hold of, but missed.  To everyone's amazement in the room, Matthew was able to astro project his body across the room and strike Denise dead before she could harm Dana.  Dana and Matthew, realizing that the cops would never believe what happened and most likely think they were crazy, convinced everyone to omit the small detail.  Following the completion of their official statements, Dana and Matt returned to Hallandale.

Their lives did not get any less complicated, Dana was later struck by a hit-and-run driver, but she luckily walked away with minor injuries.  While in the Pacific Palisades, she and Matthew discovered that Crystal Perez was the missing link to the line of Special Souls.  Heading back to Hallandale, she and Matt headed to Crystal's new club to inform her of their discovery.  However, when they arrived on the premises of Crystal's Fantasy & Associates, they bore witness to Billy Clyde being shot.  It wasn't until nearly a month later that Dana recalled details about the shooter and reported them to the authorities.  When Billy finally started to recover from his gun shot wound, Dana and Matthew decided that it was the right time to tell Crystal about her special powers.  Crystal, however, was anxious to find Billy at the time, and didn't have an active interest in hearing what Matthew and Dana had to tell her.  Despite her opposition, Dana and Matt continued to encourage her to embrace her powers and the truth about their connection.  Entertaining what she believed to be mild delusions, she concentrated very hard on finding Billy and received a vision indicating where to find him.  Fearing something terrible was going down, Crystal raced out of the hospital to find Billy.  Since then, the events before Javier's suicide seem to have faded from the trios mind.  Of course, it might have been for the simple fact that Crystal became very depressed after Javier's death and Dana became invested in trying to mend the broken fence between Matt and his brother.  However, it looked like fate would intervene as she and Matt learned that Earl contracted the Blackadder36 virus and may not survive.  The entire situation has been emotionally nerve-wrecking for Matt, who just wants so desperately for his brother to be okay.  Dana tried to comfort him whenever possible, including performing 1 or 2 tarot readings to help restore some of Matt's faith, but the results of the reading only prompted the opposite result.  It would become clear later on that the tarot readings Dana performed in regard to Matt's brother were not about Earl.  However, while fortune might be shining down on the Pryce' brothers, misfortune could have it's sights on the Lombards.
