About Evelin

Evelin is a longtime friend of Earl Pryce. Despite being a competent lawyer, there is one case that she has not been able to break: she's secretly in love with her best friend. Well, that's not entirely true. Earl's younger brother, Matthew, caught on to her secret crush through one of his psychic dreams, which forewarned him that a relationship between her and his brother would be disastrous. This created friction between them because Matthew opposed his brother becoming romantically involved with her. Tensions began to thaw when Evelin offered to help Matthew find out the truth about his father's death by taking him to Mt. Ridge Creek, even though Earl was against the idea. The trip never occurred due to some strings that Earl pulled, causing alientation between him and his brother. Evelin tried to encourage Earl to be honest, but he felt the past was better left buried.

Evelin is frantic after discovering Earl passed out in his kitchen. He is rushed to the hospital, where he is dignosed with the Blackadder36 virus. She broke the news to his brother, and endured the ire of his ex-wife (Dalia Savoy). Dalia, like Matthew, was unsupportive of a union between her and Earl. She told Evelin that Earl lacked the commitment to be a father or a husband. Evelin went on the defense because she felt Dalia was speaking ill of someone who was physically unable to defend himself, so she removed herself from the room. Hours later, Earl regained consciousness and not long after, started playing matchmaker between Dana and Matthew. Evelin, however, believes he should be focused on his recovery, and allow Dana and Matthew to work out where their relationship is going. Earl, countered, that every couple is making somtimes needs a push!
