About Garrett

While living in Grangefield, she was romantically involved with Thomas Eldridge, but with his family's never-ending drama, the two grew apart. She later became involved with Dylan McCloud and relocated to Hallandale to be with him. At first, the two appeared to be the perfect young adult couple. However, things took a turn when Garrett begin receiving calls from an old friend (Christian LeBlanc) in Grangefield. Her friendship with Christian unearthed a jealous streak in Dylan, who became increasingly insecure. When she became set on returning to Grangefield to provide more support to her friend, Dylan arranged for her to be mugged in the Mercy Hospital parking lot. The plan went awry when Dr. Jay Elkasinogen heard her frantic screams, forcing her assailant to flee. Nevertheless, Garrett was shakened by the experienced and cleaved closer to her boyfriend... until she learned he was the mastermind behind it all.

After weeks of avoiding the damage done to their fractured relationship, she realized the relationship was dead and moved out of his home. She continued to be haunted by reminders of Dylan's misdeeds thanks to repeated run-ins with her attacker, Frankie Lancaster. She accepted that he was remorseful for what he almost did, but maintained she could not forget. Needing new direction, she happily accepts an opportunity to model for Nichols Beauticon, despite the company's checkered past. A new man also enters her orbit in the form of: Romeo Sullivan, who used to be involved with her friend, Jennifer. She takes an instant dislike to his cocky charm, but something is pulling them together.
