About Jennifer

Jenni is the daughter of tenacious cop, Aubrey Capitulous, and beloved Congressman Giovanni Everestt. She arrived in Hallandale with her father to visit her mother, who was deeply entrenched in the murder investigation of Leonard Stone. She resented her mother for putting her career before their family. Rebelling, she moved into a vacant mansion with Brian Fieldings (who she struck an immediate rapport with) and Dylan McCloud. She became the target of terrorizing messages--she would later discover Dylan was behind them. Her father was shot and left paralyzed after a peace riot. He eventually regained movement in his legs, and his wife quit her job, relocating back to Richmond Valley. Jennifer refused to accept her mother's change of heart, and cut her out of her life, returning to Hallandale.

Jenni was shock when her ex- boyfriend, Romeo Sullivan, showed up in Hallandale. Jennifer expressed her immediate distaste upon seeing him, recalling vividly his affair with her aunt. Despite countless denials, she finally succumbed to a night of passion with Romeo - actually, the same night her good friend Brian realized his true feelings for her. The next morning, a confused Jennifer told him it could never happen again. However, the two end up spending another night together. This time, Brian catches them after the act and it makes for some awkward conversation. Brian cannot bring himself to admit how he feels, and rushes off. Jenni, once again, pushes away Romeo, telling him that she needs to sort out her feelings once and for all.

Days later, Brian came clean with her about his feelings. However, although she was flattered, she didn't see a romance in the cards. Brian took the rejection hard, deciding to spend some time away in Oakridge with his family. Jenni decided to take some power back in her relationship with Romeo, and make a go with a reconciliation.
