About Jessica

Jessica is a natural-born listener. Her friends and patients feel at ease with her. Her newlywed husband, however, has grown insecure with the time she spends on her job with other male colleagues. She hoped the news of her pregnancy would reaffirm her commitment to their marriage. Unfortunately, William's sterility left him convinced that she was sleeping around. Nevertheless, Jessica maintained her faithfulness. After being nearly killed in a gas vehicle explosion, Jessica was placed under the care of a handsome doctor (Greg Juntas). William was sorely displeased to discover his wife with this new man. Furthermore, he could not let go of his distrust of her and harbored a callous attitude toward the death of their unborn child. Jessica was tired and wanted a divorce, but he adamantly refused.

Over the next few months, he became even more volatile, physically abusing her and attempting sexual assault. When Romain Chandler tried to intervened, William assaulted him with his gun and left him for dead in a morgue cooler. He was prepared to do the same to his wife, but a suspicious Greg alerted the cops. After his imprisonment, Jessica finally served him with a divorce. He refused to admit defeat, promising her that she would never be free of him. Jessica met a new man, A. Ramsey-Lakhan, but was shocked to discover that he's representing her husband in his petition for parole.
