About Mindy

Mindy is a childhood friend of Alfonso Morgan. She showed up in Hallandale following his break-up with Widlin. Unbeknownst to him, she harbored a secret crush on him. During a storm, they shared a one-time only kiss. However, Alfonso explained they were just caught up in a moment, and she realized he was too raw from his breakup with Widlin to become seriously involved with her. Later, she suggested they partner up for a business venture. This opporunity came with the merger of TEC's Restaurante and Fantasy Inc.

Before the plan could come to complete fruition, the grand opening of the merger was met with gunfire. Billy was wounded, and had to be admitted to the hospital. Crystal kept vigil by his side during his recovery, leaving the management of the new venture up to Alfonso and Mindy. Alfonso, however, did not care for the restaurant side of the business, the work falling upon Mindy. To alleviate some of the responsibilities, she hired Frankie Lancaster. Alfonso's commitment to the business continued to wain, and then he decided to jump ship when a new business opportunity came calling. Mindy took the news as the ultimate betrayal and refused to wish him luck with his new venture. Despite years of friendship, he was unable to repair the damage that had been in the last few months, leaving town still very much at odds.

Following his departure, she threw herself further into the business, excited to have Billy and Crystal. She would also meet a new man: wealthy and mysterious charmer, Morgan Hysterias.
