Malina: If you cared about Dylan, you would let go this vendetta you have against his brother...
Beau: I tried and you saw what happened. (~)
Jay: So...what did the test show?
Robin: I'm not pregnant... (dropping the abortion pamphlet) I know what I have to do.
***Nurse: Ma'am, can I help you?
Robin: Yes, maybe you can. (uncertain expression) I want an abortion.
Nurse: (skeptical tone) Are you sure that's what you want?

Beau: (catching sight of Malina walking alone) Malina.
Malina: Beau? Well, I haven't seen you in a while.
Beau: Same here, along with your other half... where is my conceited little cousin?
Malina: I haven't had much contact with Anton lately, I imagine he's at the office.
Beau: Why haven't you been in contact with my cousin... did you finally realize you could do better?
Malina: (slight grin) You never fail to amaze me Beau, but Anton and I are still together.
Beau: Then why aren't you both here hanging on each other's every sickening word.
Malina: Because we have lives and careers that exist outside of one another. So why the attitude about Anton, I thought you and Anton were calling a truce.
Beau: No, I was willing to call a truce, but Anton could not turn me down fast enough.
Malina: I think he is just being...cautious!

Widlin: I have told you everything I know about what happened to Ralph. I've been honest and I sure wasn't obligated to be.
Devon: I'm aware of that, but I think there is more that you're not saying.
Widlin: You're wrong, I'm not protecting anyone.
Devon: So that's your story and your sticking to it?
Widlin: I'm sticking to it.

Derek: Sorry about that, that was Shalia confirming our plans for tonight.
Shanna: That's fine, it gave me time to work on this portrait. So you and Shalia have been spending a lot more time together?
Derek: She's a really great person and I always seem to have fun when I'm around her. I wish Ben could take the time to see that.
Shanna: Are you sure Ben's wrong about Shalia?
Derek: She's given me no reason to question her and I've had the chance to get to know her over the last couple of months, I don't think she is out to get anyone.
Shanna: (adamant and too the point) Maybe not, but I got the distinct feeling she has something to hide and that could be just as dangerous.
Shanna: Let me just say when Shalia stopped by here last week, she seemed pretty desperate for me to stop Ben.
Derek: Well, what you interpret as desperate could be her just fed up with Ben being on her back all the time. I think you're letting Ben's paranoia get the best of you.
Shanna: You use to be paranoid once upon a time, so much that you couldn't even bare to be around me, blaming me for what happened in Louisiana and what happened afterwards. Which brings me back to my question, what are you doing here?

Darron: (arriving at the front desk) I'm looking for Sandy Reynolds.
Sandy: Right behind you.
Darron: (turning around and walking over to the area where she is sitting) I'm sorry, but we haven't met before, have we?
Sandy: No, but we do have a mutual acquaintance. Your best friend is dating my sister.
Darron: Ah, Sherri Reynolds. (blunt) Well, there not dating anymore.
Sandy: My point exactly, Romain and Sherri are miserable without one another, I think it's our job to make them unmiserable. (Darron smirks in awe of her comment)

Beau: Cautious?
Malina: Well, it really isn't that hard to believe. You haven't been warm and accepting towards him...making it clear to him ever since you came back to town that you would seek revenge.
Beau: I was angry, it was a delayed response from five years of pain and regret. Anton reminded me of the love I gave up because I was too proud and hurt to face what they had done.
Malina: and maybe that's why Anton's skeptic of your truce because he sees that. Maybe Anton blames himself for your relationship with Karen falling apart as much as you do.
Beau: (spiteful tone) Well, he slept with her, didn't he?
Malina: That's the kind of attitude you need to avoid, the first part of a truce is learning to forgive.
Beau: and even if I forgive, how am I suppose to forget?
***Robin: Of course, I'm sure I want an abortion, it's a major decision.
Nurse: Yes, it is and not something that should be taken lightly. You will have to live with this decision for the rest of your life.
Robin: (taking a couple of seconds to consider the remark) I'm aware of the long-term effects of having an abortion, so why are you trying to make this decision more difficult than it needs to be.
Nurse: It's my job according to state law to make sure this choice is uniform and very well thought-out.
Robin: I cannot have this baby, it is as simple as that.

Widlin: I thank you for rescuing me from my car wreck, but to imply that I am indebted to you is ludicrous.
Devon: I never implied you were indebted to me, but I thought since I saved your life, you would be grateful enough to tell me everything you know about my brother's death.
Widlin: I have already told you everything I know and you keep insisting that I know more, but you have yet to prove your claim.
Devon: Maybe you're right, I have been trying to figure out what happened to my brother for so long that I am just skeptic of everything I hear. (Devon puts his head down in his hands)
Widlin: It's all right.
Devon: No, it's not. I have been so unfair to you when all you tried to do is help me, (leaving his state of remorse) but I know what I can do to make us both feel better. (Widlin unsure of what to make of the scene)
Darron: How are we suppose to make them unmiserable?
Sandy: By getting them back together, Romain and Sherri are both putting up walls, but if we could give them a little push, then maybe we can knock those walls right down.
Darron: I still don't know why you need me to help you play matchmaker.
Sandy: You're Romain's best friend and you want to see him happy as such, I want to see my sister happy. Besides, I need a guy to call in the dinner plans as Romain and I figure I could convince you.
Darron: So in other words, I'm a means to an end.
Sandy: Exactly! So are you going to help me or not?
Darron: Alright, I'll help you, but on one condition.
Sandy: What's that?
Darron: When this blows up in your face, make sure I'm not around. (he walks off as Sandy responds with a faulty grin)

Derek: Well, I wasn't very friendly towards you after Louisiana, I admit that.
Shanna: Yeah, that's an understatement.
Derek: But I came to grips with that and I realize you were much a victim as anyone else.
Shanna: Still, this wasn't a casual visit. What are you doing here?
Derek: Ben sent me, of course. He wanted me to check in on you occasionally to make sure you were holding up okay.
Shanna: Wait a minute, he told you about his travel plans, but didn't tell me.
Derek: (baffled) He told me he was going away for a while and wanted to make sure I would look after you.
Shanna: Of course, he would want to keep you in the dark as much as anyone.
Derek: What do you mean, "keep me in the dark"?
Shanna: Any plans you have for Ben accepting Shalia as part of your life are futile.
***Malina: No one expects you to forget what happened completely. There will always be a pain that remains with you for the rest of your life, but it's your job to get past it.
Beau: and that's what I'm trying to do, that's why I called the truce because I want to get past this chapter in our lives.
Malina: Well, it's going to take more than words to convince Anton, it's going to take action.
Beau: What kind of action? How do I convince him that I want things to be different?
Malina: You don't concentrate on trying to prove yourself, you be yourself and let your heart lead the way. You be there when they need you, that's what families do.
Beau: You make it sound so easy.
Malina: Well, although my family is a city or two away, it's a relationship that should not be taken for granted.
Beau: (certain tone) I want to get back to where Anton and I used to be.
Malina: I think he does too...(placing her hand out to his) you just have to give him time. (Anton walks up and catches the display)

Nurse: I understand that you don't want this baby, but I want to make sure you know there are other alternatives rather than abortion.
Robin: You don't understand, I can't have this baby, there are no other options. I want to have this abortion.
Nurse: Well, I can see that you're painfully aware of what you want, so I will get the procedure set up for you.
Robin: Thank you, I want to get this over with as soon as possible.
Nurse: Well, why don't you sit down and I'll call for you when I'm ready.
Robin: Fine. (she sits down and picks up a magazine when she is suddenly stirred by the cries of an infant)
Man: He's so beautiful.
Doctor: It's a life, so precious a gift. (Robin covers her mouth upon hearing that)

Derek: What are you talking about?
Shanna: The reasons for Ben's little trip to Louisiana, you should know who you're doing your favors for.
Derek: I don't understand.
Shanna: I told you that all hopes of Ben accepting Shalia are futile, especially since that was his main purpose for leaving.
Derek: (confused look in his eyes) What? What are you telling me?
Shanna: He left town to find out all her secrets and he's not going to stop digging until he finds them and gets Shalia out of your life. Oh and I know that because that's the reason Shalia was trying to urge me to stop Ben the other night, so are you so sure you can trust her?
***Shanna: (breaking the silence) Derek?
Derek: (momentary pause) I think I am going to get going.
Shanna: What are you going to do?
Derek: (looking her in the eye before departing) Whatever needs to be done.
Andrew: (interrupting Shanna's quiet moment) Hey.
Shanna: Hi. You've been gone quite a while.
Andrew: I thought I'd give you and your friend some time alone.
Shanna: Yeah, well, we had plenty of that. I think I gave Derek something to think about tonight.
Leigha: (walking towards the scene) Hey Anton, our lead is around the...Oh.
Malina: Anton, I didn't know you were standing there.
Anton: Just a few seconds, I was a bit surprise to see you with Beau.
Beau: Well, Malina is a great listener and was just giving me some heartfelt advice. I don't believe we've had the pleasure, I'm Beau Devereaux.
Leigha: (he gives her a firm, gentle handshake) Leigha Gray, pleasure granted.
Beau: Well, I have places to be, so I'll catch you both later.
Malina: Bye.
Beau: (passing by her as he heads off) Pleasure meeting you, again.
Leigha: You too. (leaving in the other direction) I think I will catch up to our lead.
Anton: So what did my cousin want now?
Sandy: I would like to make a personal greeting card.
Sales Associate: For?
Sandy: Not necessary, just a short message. "Let's start anew, clean slate and no secrets. Love Sherri."
Darron: (sneaking up on her) Okay, I just finished making the dinner reservations.
Sandy: Good, everything is in place on our end. So all we got to do is sit back and relax, the rest is up to Sherri and Romain. (she says with a joyous smile)
Widlin: Good, I was just about to write you a note, I am going to leave, I think I have stayed long enough.
Devon: But I haven't had a chance to give you a gift to apologize for my behavior earlier.
Widlin: It's not necessary.
Devon: Please, it would make me feel a whole lot better if you would take the gift.
Widlin: I don't feel comfortable accepting gifts.
Devon: (opening a case) Would you just look at it, it's rather beautiful. (Devon looks on ominously as her expression changes upon spying the gift)
Nurse: The doctors are ready to begin the procedure. So are you ready?
Robin: (takes a deep breath) Yeah.
Nurse: Just one click of a swith and it's all over. (Robin has several flashes of thought)
Robin: "I'm not pregnant..."
Obstetrician: "You don't want to have this baby..."
Doctor: (sound of a baby crying) "It's a life."
Robin: (awakening from the flashes, the doctor prepares to flick the switch) Stop, I can't do this.
Devon: You recognize it, don't you? (~)
Anton: Whatever plans you have for Malina, you might as well forget them. (~)
Liam: Quite frankly, I think he has become obsessed. (~)
Kendall: (turning back to her desk, she is startled by a figure) gasp!
