About Crystal

Crystal was an only child, raised by her single mother for a number of years until her mother met and married, River Delinquez Sr. Suddenly, Crystal (age 11) found herself with an older brother (Tonio, 14) and a new baby brother on the way. She and Tonio had a combative relationship due to his initial opposition to their parent's marriage. He thought Kristina was a whack job due to her so-called visions of the future. He and Crystal grew closer after Tonio's 16th birthday and acceptance of Kristina. Unfortunately, not long after, Kristina would contract the pneumonia, and pass away.

The next three years were rough for the Delinquez family as she fought through depression and the family struggled to move forward. In college, she met and married Javier Sanchez within two years, with some resistance from her stepfather, who thought the relationship was going too fast. After graduating college, she snagged a job with Fantasy Inc. as Assistant Director of Marketing and Planning. Her boss, Billy Clyde, was very impressed and she was quickly promoted to Executive Director of Marketing Affairs. Her new title, however, demanded a lot of more of her time, which she didn't mind because she enjoyed what she was doing, but it made her a less present wife. Complicating matters, Javier really wanted to adopt, but she did not feel the timing was right. Meanwhile, she and Billy were spending more and more work nights together, leading to a change in their relationship. Despite attempts to deny their sexual attraction, they gave into their animalistic desire. Javier continued to press the idea of adoption, making it difficult for her to admit that she was unfaithful. Both she and Billy were shocked to discover that it was his and Angela's child that Javier arranged to adopt. Unfortunately, Angela caught wind of her husband's affair, and the whole plan imploded after a deadly confrontation between Billy and Javier, which left Angela and her unborn child dead. Despite remaining civil and committed, Javier could not bring himself to be intimate with his wife without picturing her and Billy together. Within a month, the two mutually agreed to a divorce before she decided to move to another state for a fresh start.

In Hallandale, Massachusetts, Crystal linked up with an old friend, Taneia Ralston. The two women, with the help of Earl Pryce, opened a new restaurant. After almost two successful years, the partnership suffered from an internal power struggle. Taneia felt like her actions were being micromanaged, and Crystal was dealing with a threat from her past in the form of Dr. Laura Sedwick. Laura wreaked a lot of havoc, and tried to kill Crystal on multiple occasions. After Laura's accidental death, the two business woman reconciled their differences and agreed to co-exist. Then Billy turned up in Hallandale with a business proposal for Cystal. He wasn't the only male attention she would receive: her ex-husband also made a trip to Hallandale. Unfortunately, it became very messy having both of her exes in the same town. She rejected Javier, and accepted Billy's business merger.

During their opening launch, a jilted Javier shot Billy, leaving him for dead. When Crystal discovered that her ex-husband was responsible, she tore into him. Javier, broken down, took his own life. After the investigation into his Javier's suicide was cleared, she and Billy were finally able to make inroads toward a reunion. The couple are planning to re-brand, and launch their restaurant under a new name with Mindy Clarke.
