Leonard: I love you.
Rochelle: I’m sorry. I just can’t seem to care anymore. (~)
William: Finally. I will know once and for all if Jessica’s baby could be mine. (~)
Jessica: (moans in pain) Oh, my baby.
Man: … If you don’t get up, this car will blow with you inside.

<> Jessica: I can’t move. (she pushes hard on the door) The door is jammed. It’s no use, I can’t get out!
Man: (appeasing her from the window) Don’t give up. I’m going to get you and your baby out of here, you just to have a little faith.

William: So? What are the results?
Dr. Sedwick: I’m sorry, William. There the same. You are sterile.
William: (thinking to himself) “Then I was right. She has been lying all alone.”

Woman: (waltzing after her husband, who heads back toward Jessica’s car with the crowbar) Honey, what is going on?
Man: There’s a pregnant woman stuck inside and I’m trying to get her out.
Woman: Oh god. Well, I’ll go to the other side and see if I can pull her out.
Man: No use, she appears to be suffering from lower abdomen pain and she’s pregnant. So the best bet is for me to prop open her door. What you can do is keep her calm.
Woman: Not a problem. (walking over to the passenger) Ma’am, we’re going to… (finally taking note of the woman in the driver’s seat) Jessica!

(theme music)

<> Man: What’s wrong?
Shanna: It’s Jessica. Jessica Chappell. She went to high school together. We were actually pretty good friends.
Man: Hmm… talk about your high school reunions. But what is she doing out here at the edge of town?
Shanna: No clue, but we better get her now or we may not have the chance to ask.

Rochelle: (gracing him with a bright smile as she enters the room) Hey Anton. Have I received any messages?
Anton: Several, actually. All from the same guy… Stone.
Rochelle: (her smile dissipates, followed with a tone of distaste) Leonard Stone.
Anton: Yep, the one and only.
Rochelle: In the future, please make sure the firm refrains from accepting his calls.
Anton: Ok, but you should know that he is on his way here.
Rochelle: He’s what?

Dr. Sedwick: Are you all right?
William: I’m fine! At least now there is no doubt in my mind that it’s not true.
Dr. Sedwick: There are other ways too—
William: (cuts her off) Please don’t. I need to be alone.
Dr. Sedwick: All right, then. Good luck!
William: (leaving the hospital) I know what I must do now.

<> Ben: (walking back over to the driver’s side of the car) All right, Jessica. I need you to stand back while I try to prop open the door.
Jessica: Okay, just hurry.

Anton: He told me he would be waiting for you.
Rochelle: Oh, hell no! The last person I want to see after last night is Leonard.
Anton: Looks like he has other plans.
Rochelle: No, I’m going over to Royce’s office. He shouldn’t go in there. Besides, Royce is still out of town and Leonard knows how he feels about people going into his office.
Anton: What do you want me to do if he doesn’t leave?
Rochelle: You have the muscles. Use them and strong arm Leonard out of this building. (opening the door) Now I have to get out of here before—
Leonard: Going somewhere?
Rochelle: (dejected) He comes.

<> William: You lied to me for the last time Jessica. Now you must suffer the consequences.

{ thunder crashes }

Anton: (leaving) I guess there is no reason for me to stick around.
Leonard: Did you really think you could get away?
Rochelle: (sadly) Yeah.
Leonard: Well, that’s too bad because I am not giving up. I will not allow that slut of billionaires to ruin the best thing that has ever happen to me.
Rochelle: You’re right, because you did that all yourself.

{ thunder hits harder }

Shanna: Pull Ben. Hurry!
Ben: I’m trying. She is so heavy.
Shanna: What do you expect? She’s pregnant.
Jessica: (inaudible with pain) You both are just regular comedians.
Shanna: We’re almost home free.
(the car then explodes and all is quiet, except for constant thunder crashes afterwards, followed by the downpour of rain)
