About Akeira

The deliciously cunning Akeira Smith arrived in Hallandale with one sole purpose in mind--to land herself a rich sugardaddy. She found her mark in wealthy widower, Alexander Pierre, who was instantly smitten. Without breaking a sweat, she tamed the sensational news mogul. Her past history with his daughter, however, posed a serious threat to her plans. Fortunately, she knew exactly what buttons to press to keep Widlin in line. After a while, things appeared to be falling into place, except she was beginning to develop real feelings for Alexander. In addition, her eldest son, Rocky Santana, arrived in Hallandale for a visit, only to discover that his mother was passing off another woman's sick infant child as him. He was even more disgusted when she revealed that she started the scheme so her family never had to worry about money again. Rocky refused to stick around and be forced to perpetuate her lies, catching a one-way flight back to Coral Springs.

Akeira had an attack of conscious, and could not continue lying to Alexander about her sick son. When she finally came clean, he was anything, but appreciative of her honesty. Instead, he threw her to the curb. She tried to reconcile with him, but all his affection had been replaced with bitterness and contempt. When she discovered she was pregnant with his child, she kept the news to herself. During the opening of CF&A, she got into a physical altercation with Alexander and realized he was too volatile to be around in her condition. With no allies or family left in Hallandale, Akeira took Mitchell Desmores up on his offer to get away for a while.

In the season six premiere, Akeira is back with her newborn son and a new husband.
