About Mitchell

The eldest of the Desmores family, Mitchell is the quintessential ladies man. After all, anyone smooth enough to sleep with one sister while married to other one must be pretty damn clever. In a rather ill-conceived move, Mitchell agreed to marry Sherri Reynolds to help her sister (his lover) gain access to a portion of her grandparents inheritance. The plan, however, imploded from within when Sandy had a change of heart following the sea cruise from hell. Sandy admitted to her sister that she and Mitchell were having an affiar. Sherri vowed revenged, stripping Mitchell of everything he owned. Life in Coral Springs was no longer financially sound, so he and Sandy re-located to his hometown.

In Hallandale, he looked for a part-time job to supplement his income, while a dangerous man lurked in the shadows, waiting to wipe Sandy Reynolds off the face of the earth. Mitchell finally secured a new gig, but when he returned home to share the news with Sandy, he was horrified to find her shot and left for dead in a pool of her own blood. He remained vigil by her hospital bedside for days, while duking it out with his ex- wife. When Sandy finally gained consciousness, she had no recollection of Mitchell or her life with him. He was deeply troubled by the turn of events, but tried to keep faith that the love of his life would remember him. He pressed every chance he got for her to remember, but his persistence only seem to tear them further and further apart. While Sandy began re-connecting with her sister, Mitchell started to feel like there was part of Sandy that was no longer trying to remember. Ultimately, he grew tired of being treated like a stranger and left Hallandale with Akeira Smith to clear his head.

In the season six premiere, Mitchell returns to Hallandale and reveals to Sandy that he's now married to Akeira, and raising her son together.
