About Dean

Dean arrived in Hallandale under the guise of his resurrected deceased twin, Leonard Stone. Colluding with tenacious cop, Aubrey Capitulous, he hoped the plan would lead to the entrapment of his brother's killer. Aubrey's number one suspect was Rochelle Desmores. Unfortunately, the plan was thwarted by Lacreasha Dupree and Kyle Sharrington, who realized Dean's true identity. Before Rochelle was formally charged in the attempted murder of Leonard Stone, Lacreasha revealed to the courts that Leonard was truly dead, and his twin brother had been deceiving the courts with the assistance of law enforcement. The judge declared a mistrial, and the charges were dropped against Rochelle. Dean tried to explain his actions to Rochelle, but she would hear none of it, slapping him across the face with a warning to never come near her again. He does not keep his distance, deciding to enlist her help in catching the real culprit. Despite her anger toward him, Rochelle agreed to assist him.

Their search leads to the most unlikely suspect: Kavina Shah. Despite her misgivings, Rochelle searches her friend's home. In the process, she discovers a secret room with evidence linking Kavina to the crime. After a tense showdown, Kavina is apprehended by the authorities. Dean is hopeful justice can now be served for his brother's murder. Instead, he's enraged when his brother's name is dragged through the mud, and Kavina is painted as the damaged victim. Even Rochelle starts to soften toward her, leading to more friction between her and Dean. He continues to rally for the full force of the prosecution office against Kavina. However, her defense attorney (Joy Gannon) successfully advocates a solid case for mental distress.

Dissatisfied with the court's final judgment, he vowed on his brother's grave to make sure that his killer got the punishment she so richly deserved.
