About Widlin

Widlin is the daughter of rich, infamous news mogul, Alexander Pierre. Despite her family's social standing in the community, she is a fair and loyal person with a major skeleton in her closet. In season three, it was revealed that as a teenager in Coral Springs, Nevada, she killed a man in self-defense. Due to a cover-up orchestrated by her father and step mother, the death remains unsolved. The events of that night are a large part of the reason why she despises her father's former fling, Akeira Smith.

After confessing her killer past to reform con-artist Darron Wolek, Widlin began dating her newfound savior, much to her father's approval. Alexander fought the relationship every step of the way, preying on his daughter's insecurities about her boyfriend's commitment. When Darron realized that she didn't trust him enough to walk away from the family's inheritance, he left her. Widlin resented her father for his part in the break-up, and cut all ties with him. At the end of season five, she is drawn back into her father's orbit when he expresses a desire to re-build his family by locating Akeira and their unborn child.
