About Kyle

Kyle is the estranged son of infamous news mogul, Alexander Pierre. Raised by his mother in Coral Springs, Kyle grew up never knowing his father. When he was old enough, he re-located to Hallandale hoping to connect with him. Alexander, however, rejected him out of misguided respect for his late wife. Future attempts proved just as contentious, setting in motion a vicious cycle of hate and rejection. Despite becoming involved and engaged to local restauranteer Taneia Ralston, Kyle continued to long for a relationship with his father until it became apparent that his father resented him because he was half-Caucasian. Kyle could not cope with the real reason for his father's rejection, and slowly turned away from everything he loved--his career and his fiancée, going into hiding shortly afterwards.

While in hiding, he aided Lacreasha Dupree in her plans to break-up Hallandale tortured super couple, Leonard Stone and Rochelle Desmores. In exchange, she kept quiet about his whereabouts. He was forced out of hiding when he rescued his former fiancée from the clutches of deranged Dr. Laura Sedwick. After a brief reunion and reconciliation with the past, Kyle and Taneia once again went their separate ways. Kyle moved on romantically to Lacreasha, proposing to her in Paris following the long-awaited summation of Leonard Stone's murder conviction trial.

At the end of season five, Kyle and Lacreasha celebrate their engagement among friends and colleagues at Monte Carlos restaurant, unaware that his father is circling their table with a proposal of his own.
